This year, Habitat for Humanity has some BIG NEWS! The infrastructure for the next 33 homes are ready to be built on! We now have roads, sewers, utility connections, and a gorgeous new entrance to the subdivision. The land is ready, NOW we need YOU! Your donation will make an incredible impact, helping the next group of local families own their very own home. Take a peek at all of the homes families live in and envision the future with us!

In early 2020, the 50-acre plot of land that is now Habitat's Boone Prairie Subdivision, started construction on its very first home. Since then, thousands of volunteers, hundreds of donors, and 28 homeowners have made their way through the process of building this incredible community. There will be 143 Habitat Homeowners living in Boone Prairie upon its completion. Families like Rebecca's! Take a tour of her home with Rebecca leading the way! Rebecca and her two sons have learned so much through the construction already and cannot wait to spend their very first night in the new home! See a Tour of her home below!

Habitat for Humanity provides an interest-free mortgage for the amount it costs to build their home with volunteer labor. Without interest or labor costs, these homes are actually affordable to own. Future homeowners help build their house by completing 250 hours of sweat equity and education to set them up for successful homeownership. They put in their blood, sweat and tears, and pay a mortgage just like everyone else- it is just affordable!

Thank you once again for being a part of our Habitat family. We look forward to sharing more updates with you as new homes are built and new families move in! Take a tour of the neighborhood and see where the next families will get to call HOME:
